The F & F Mold and Die Works of Dayton, Ohio
produced models that were given away as Cereal Premiums beginning in
1954 in POST GRAPE NUTS, CORN FLAKES and RICE KRISPIES.

These models portray the "1954" car
with the Side mouldings as used on the 1954 Ford Fairlane.
It is believed that only a few prototype Cars
were ever built by Ford using these Chrome Strips, one was owned by
Lewis D. Crusoe who was the "sponsor" on the Ford
Board of using the styling, however he was overruled and the strips
were removed from all Production cars. Crusoe arranged for one set
to be salvaged and applied to his personal car.
The Yellow car above is the only one in the
T'Bird-UK collection, other pictures are of cars offered on Auction
Sites.
